Account Manager– eCommerce

The primary responsibility of the Account Manager-eCommerce is to ensure the strategic plans are followed, tasks are completed, deadlines are met, and daily communication and responses are managed and completed in accordance with Creeden’s standards in the eCommerce channel.

The AM must have a solid foundation or commitment to learning new platforms in order to support business across multiple eCommerce platforms such as but not limited to: Amazon, Groupon, WM.com, HD.com, Zoro.com, etc. In addition, the AM will have the capacity to manage day to day tasks supporting the strategic goals that have been set for the customer.

This position requires a candidate who can problem-solve, self-learn, be organized, manage changing priorities, identify and champion new business opportunities, bring business insights and recommendations and align them with industry and Creeden standards.

It is critical that the AM has strong verbal and written communication skills.  The individual must be capable of leading and managing a meeting, sending emails, engaging business account leads in business relevant conversations and work independently and on a team while adhering to the Creeden standards. 

This role will be expected to collaborate and work with the National Account Executive in developing the strategic business plans for all accounts and is responsible for managing the day-to-day tasks and meeting the deadlines as they present themselves in the course of business.   At times this means changing plans or adapting to new business challenges. This person must have strong soft skills, be positive and engaged and able to work through challenges and barriers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION

  • Strong desire to learn and grow within the eCommerce landscape
  • Collaborate with the National Account Executive to ensure that all touch points are being met
  • Focus on day-to-day operations, managing all touch points between accounts and eCommerce platforms in a timely manner
  • Keep up to date with industry and platform changes, be ahead of the curve with eCommerce trends, work to develop support to Creeden’s playbook for new and ongoing issues/trends. Be the expert on all thing’s eCommerce and provide new resolution techniques
  • Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data of all clients
  • Monitor platform process and adjust to new requirements when needed
  • Uphold the integrity of the client’s brand story when updating images, copy, video, etc.
  • Plans and executes all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, PPC, social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Manage account budgets and spend plans
  • Resolve all product listing issues including but not limited to buybox suppression, missing content, etc.
  • Duplicate monthly reports, create ad hoc reports when needed
  • Complete audits by client, determine areas that need improvement
  • Create SEO copy and understand Ad management and goals. Creation/ implementation
  • Complete daily tasks such as but not limited to uploading images, managing the catalogs, adding new items, submitting corrections, responding to client inquiries, managing price changes, etc.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, eCommerce, Marketing, or a related field
  • Experience in eCommerce, retail strategies, and/or competitive data preferred
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in .Com and Amazon portal management including Vendor Central and Seller Central
  • Preferred digital marketing skills with a demonstrated track record of success in developing/ managing PPC and SEO
  • Preferred experience in retail eCommerce marketing for Facebook for Business, Pinterest, and Instagram with a demonstrated track record developing/ managing campaigns for those platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Strong soft skills and awareness to the business partners’ needs
  • Work with a high degree of urgency and accuracy and able to multi-task and complete work in a timely manner
  • Work as a team, collaborating on ideas and build upon new/existing client relationships

  • Travel 10% of the time
